Happy New Year! What are your resolutions?

By Pauline

Hey, it’s almost new year 🙂 I’ll get ahead and jump straight to 2014, what are your resolutions?

Mine are

Health: Run 3 times a week, swim every day. I already run 3 times a week with decent consistency, except when it rains a lot. The daily swim is easy after a run because I am hot, however on a colder day I avoid the water.

Personal: Find more balance between online life and real life. I spend a LOT of time on my computer, writing, emailing, watching TV, reading books… and often have trouble unplugging. I want to set times off the computer, like I used to do from Friday afternoon to Monday morning. I spent the past two months traveling so the habit has suffered.

Financial: Grow my net worth by 30% and make £30,000 online this year. I have a couple more goals but those are the main two.

I am sure it will be an amazing year, and I want to invite you to join along.

To help you with the financial resolutions, I am starting 2014 with a bang! Presenting a month long financial boot camp to help you improve your financial situations right now.

Of course, it is free to join, and even if this boot camp is mainly targeted to UK readers, most of it can be applied anywhere.

We will target your bills, your debt, your cards, your mortgage, and much more. Every aspect of your financial life will get a detailed check up, and at the end of each post, you will get an action plan for the following days.

Because failing to plan is planning to fail, I made the plan for you, and all you have to do is act.

I am excited about this series, and I hope you will drop me a line along the way to let me know how you are doing, and if you are struggling with any of the action plans.

In the meanwhile, I wish you a very happy, and very prosperous 2014!

Use time more efficiently. I just have to know how to use it better, and just stop doing things that aren’t any use to me and just put it to either work or rest. Just better time management overall basically.

Good ones, Pauline. I did this yesterday and as usual I have my words for the year. These are: ‘fitness and abundance’. Within this, there are several goals but as usual goals are more a compass than an aim.

I like the two words idea, it is much easier to focus on less than a ton of goals.
