It’s that time of the week again where I review various statistics at SavvyScot for the week and give a big shout out to my fellow bloggers whose posts I have particularly enjoyed this week!
The weekend may almost be over, but there is still 2 days left of the Razorpit giveaway at SavvyScot. For those of you who missed the post, Razorpit is a device that cleans and sharpens razorblades and allows them to be used for much longer! I have been using one for the last couple of weeks on a blade that I was ready to bin! With blades costing a few quid each and the razorpit device doubling (even tripling) the life of your blades… it can save you a small fortune. It is free to enter so give it a shot!
The most popular post of the week was 12 Crazy Disney Facts You Never Knew
Summary of Stats at SavvyScot:
- Average number of hits per day – 220. Pretty consistent with last week…. Chuffed to bits! Thanks for coming back everyone!
- Alexa Rank – Target was <165k and I absolutely SMASHED IT!! That’s right folks, SavvyScot is now ranked at 152,110. Next week’s target is <140k
- Sterling Effort Rank – slipped to 15th here but I am not sure why? Perhaps Ash and Jay altered the algorithm slightly and changed the weighting (importance) of various stats. SS has yet to get a ‘Compete Rank’. Hopefully this will change in the not too distant future!
- Facebook Likes – still sitting at around the 600 mark. SS Facebook Friend page – 225 friends.
- Twitter Followers – 25.7k – up around 250 followers from last week.
- Subscribers – 36 – although this is only up 2 from last week, I am not going to get too worked up. I have decided that I would actually prefer that people visit SS and take part in the discussion instead of reading it in their inbox. That said, feel free to sign up!
Delighted with the continued growth here. I expect to take a dip or plateau for a while, but I am enjoying these stats when they last! The Change Your Life series continues to be popular. This week’s post focused on Eating Healthily, which is a big challenge for us all. Perhaps I shouldn’t have had two deserts today and a massive Sunday Lunch… Practice what you preach comes to mind, but that said I am the first to advocate a cheat day 😀 !!
Next Week you can expect change your life series part 3, some discussion around the new P2P investment that Mrs Scot and I just made and a confession of a bad habit. I might even tell you all about the trip I am taking to Brussels traveling First Class 😀 !
Ok.. enough about me. Time to give a shout out to some great posts from some awesome bloggers. I realise a lot of people do these posts, but I have been trying to support a lot of these people and think these posts are well worth a read!
