    Finish trying to paint my home and fix things my slum landlord won’t…. I am a single disabled mother and I just simply can not afford to put this kind of money towards the house all the time, especially when you live off of a very small disability income and have to support a 13 year old girl at the same time.

    Wow – this prize would go really well in helping to clear our debt. We’ve been pushing so hard but, even after taking extra jobs, managing the school run and battling with paying over the odds in rent, it’s hard to make a dent.

    If I won the $500, I would use it as a down payment on a car. Mine is a gas hog, and I’m on disability and cannot afford the gas!
