Diet is a huge issue in the 30s (and into the 40s). For people that are married, kids have probably entered the picture which means a) lack of time to prepare healthy meals, b) picky eaters and c) more activities leads to more eating out. Plus, the bodies metabolism begins to slow down especially if exercise is lacking.
