Fast turn around careers for recent grads

By Pauline

fast career grads

Becoming a recent graduate is mixed with enthusiasm and fear. You have finished your education but you are unsure whether you will find a job in good time. Some careers have better prospects than others, though. This guide is going to show you some fast turnaround careers for recent graduates who want real prospects.

Computer Science

Computer science is the field for you. You don’t necessarily need a relevant degree to enter this field as long as you know your stuff. With the rise of big data, artificial intelligent, and more it should come as no surprise that computer science offers an abundance of career opportunities for grads coming right out of school. Take note if you do hold a degree in computer science specifically you are always going to have an advantage.

Civil Service

The civil service in the US isn’t always considered by graduates because it is neither glamorous nor particularly huge. The civil service has a government program that allows people with a degree to force their way into the civil service. There are individual programs for IT, communications, and health, so choose the field you would most like to get into.

Dental Assistants

The dental industry continues to grow and there is a shortage of assistants. Anyone with a degree can potentially make their way into the field and become a dental assistant. Since you are only assisting you don’t need the specialized knowledge that a fully-qualified dentist would. One of the reasons for the growth of this field is the availability of Delta dental waiting period insurance. With more people covered by dental insurance there are more people going to the dentist and an increasing need for dental assistants to serve them.

Social Media Marketing

All businesses need to have a presence on social media if they are going to get seen. The problem is that too many people just don’t have the knowledge needed to succeed in this field. This is a results-based industry, so all companies care about is that you have a good record of accomplishment and you can drive traffic and sales. A degree in marketing is recommended, but if you have the right soft skills it doesn’t matter which field your degree comes from.

Management

Managers at all levels of the totem pole are required to make a business work. The majority of companies prefer to train new managers from the ground up so they don’t have to unlearn and relearn a system. As long as you have a college degree and a good GPA you will qualify for the vast majority of management programs offered by companies in both the public and private sectors.

Conclusion – A Chance to Succeed

These five career paths offer an easy way into a long and successful career. Not only do many of them provide excellent starting salaries, they provide paths for progression later. But many of these career paths are competitive, with increasing numbers of graduates discovering them for the first time.

What do you think is the best career to go into for recent grads?
