Does your London work involve a lot of travel and are you getting overwhelmed by the bargain of rent or mortgage that you have to pay, considering this money an annoying sunk cost? Rent it out, using a hassle free AirBnB management company Passthekeys.co.uk and you will be paid for each day you travel.
The story of Jack (name changed), Management Consultant of one of the top firms, started when he was going to visit his family in India for one month. His preparations for the trip were not so easy – packing, buying presents for all the relatives, making all the necessary travel arrangements. Not to mention completing mentally exhausting consulting projects. And of course, last minute requests from clients needed to be addressed overnight.
Jack was overwhelmed. And, although he thought about renting out his gorgeous one bedroom flat at the heart of London, which he had recently bought and was paying his loan, there was no second left to face all the details of the procedure. So, he turned to Pass the Keys, AirBnB management company. They helped with everything: assessed market price of the property, wrote down flat description and made a listing on AirBnB (which is, to be honest, a rather time-consuming thing to do), prepared the property for guests, met them personally, and arranged cleaning services after they left. What’s also important, is that they supplied sheets and towels. So, when Jack, full of warm emotions after staying with his closest ones, came back, his flat was waiting for him in exactly the same condition he had left it. He enjoyed his first evening in London in his beautiful living room with a glass of red wine on a sofa, in his favourite slippers that had remained untouched by his careful unseen guests.
On top of that, by simply passing the keys, Jack secured £2 200 of additional income for his modern one bedroom flat near London Bridge without any hassle. And since his monthly mortgage payment is £2 200, for this month he completely alleviated his burden. An Airbnb Per Day pricing policy created a huge possibility to earn much more compared to, say, on a Per Week or Per Month Basis. If Jack had rented on a Per Month basis, he would have earned £1 500, which is £700 less.
Jack really enjoyed this opportunity of an effortless and flexible earning – you can rent for how many days you want on a short notice – and since then has become one of the most loyal customers of Pass the Keys. On average, he is making £300 per month by renting out one weekend when he travels, thus saving almost 15% on his mortgage payments. Simple reporting system implemented by Pass the Keys allows him to feel in control of his finances. And this makes his consulting work even more enjoyable!
Obviously, travellers for work get most benefits from this type of service – they are paid to travel, they collect free miles and earn good money on renting out their properties. In total, all these benefits add decent 40% to their salaries.
If you are a busy traveller, probably it’s an opportunity worth exploring. Have a safe and pleasant flight!

I think this article is brilliant, what an amazing Idea to make a little of extra cash but there are still a lot of unanswered questions, like:
What if your furniture is really expensive and it got ruined, you would have a reckless stranger eating messy food on a very expensive Sofa etc…
I just learned about AirBnB but it would be interesting to read what a person who rented out his flat has to say about the experience.
